Update!

Hey everyone I hope everyone's summer has been going well!
Anyway I just wanted to let you know that the big changes I talked about are still going to happen just not right now I have to finish up some details. My website is coming along slowly but surely it should be ready by the end of summer :D Some of my big projects I had planned are going to be postponed until I get the 8043 Excavator (I should have enough money by the end of this month xD) because I need some more parts. One of my previous POST's might have seemed sort of in uninformative or quick but it wasn't (You will understand soon enough :D).

Well I just wanted to let you know what was going on.

4 Output Multiplexer

I am testing some different multiplexer mechanisms for one of my future projects (it's really cool) and so here is what I came up with. It needs some improvements but it is just a design, the one I will use for my project is going to be smaller and more accurate, anyway here is the video of it in action:

NXT Touch!

Late last night I got an email from one of LEGO Mindstorms lead technicians, that I know! Here is what he wrote:

" I just wanted to let you know that we just came up with a brand new NXT brick! It is just like an IPhone only it is a little thicker and has ports on both ends for the wires! It has twice as much memory as the current one, and the screen is a full color touch screen it also has a camera on the front to take pictures! It will be available for people to buy sometime this summer."   

He went on to say he wanted me to help out with beta testing! This will be awesome, He couldn't give me a picture because it had just been finished and he hadn't taken a picture yet! This is going to be the best thing LEGO has ever made!

Remember a little while ago I posted the teaser trailer of Daniele Benedettelli's Cyclops? Well now he posted another trailer of the cyclops that he will reveal at the World Robot Olympiad November 18-20 in the United Arab Emirates. Looks pretty neat!!!
